Help us welcome Miss Molly Mayes K-12 Counselor for 24/25 Hello Burr Oak Community Schools! I am SO excited to be a part of your community! I am a recent graduate from Central Michigan University with my master’s in counseling. I have worked in both clinical and school settings and recently became a licensed school counselor. In my free time I enjoy nature, fishing, hanging out with my family and watching cooking shows. I am new to the area so feel free to recommend any places for me to visit! Burr Oak Camp Fort Hill Day Camp 2024 Burr Oak Children ages 7-12 years may attend day camp. Dates: Please indicate which week(s) you would like to register for on the permission form. June - 10-14 (Burr Oak) June - 17-21 (Sturgis) June - 24-28 (Sturgis) July - 15-19 (White Pigeon) July - 22-26 (Sturgis) *The Sturgis bus leaves the Eastwood parking lot at 9:00am, please arrive a few minutes early. The bus leaves Camp Fort Hill and returns to Eastwood at 3:00pm. Cost: Burr Oak Students ONLY $20per child, per week (only during Burr Oak week), Online registration and payments are now available! *Scholarships are available based on need. Day Camp Activities Include: archery, arts and crafts, boating, climbing wall, fishing, hiking, nature study, swimming, water games and more! Breakfast and Lunch are provided daily. Please Bring the Following Daily: swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, water bottle, bug spray, shoes for walking/hiking and a backpack to carry items.  Please be prepared for the weather each day.  No electronics allowed. Part Time Kitchen Assistant 4-6 hours daily $12-14 depending on experience Duties: Help prepare breakfast up for following day. Help write up production sheets. Set up salad bar for the lunch. Prepare food for G.S.R.P. (Mon – Thu) Cashier Wash dishes Help with cleaning the cafeteria. Help count food at the end of day. Be a team player. Flexibility is essential. As required by School Code 380.61,two(2) board members will fill this vacancy by appointment on April 22, 2024 at the work session. If you are chosen for this appointed position you will also need to run for this position in the regular election of 2024.
